Virut virus, anyone know how to get rid of it??
hello, one of my computers Virut recently contracted the virus. when it ran an analysis AVG and quarantined a point each. exe application and a bunch of files, including the system restore function. AVG (full version) does not seem able to contain the virus, the PC boots, but as soon as it does almost everything in Virut corrodes memory. Is there a way to recover / heal the files and programs put in quarantine in the vault or lost forever?? Does anyone know the actual code or script that the virus come from? I can get rid of it through reg edit? I not really know shit about computers, especially XP O / S, so any help would be great. Thank you.
Hello. Virut virus that has infected exe. running in the task manager (system services) If AVG has quarantined those who are infected by this Virut, the first thing hav to delete the exe file. of Virut virus (I think you know is a virus exe.) manually or by AVG. Restart the computer. And see that everything is OK or not. If it's so like before go to virus vault and restore all exe files. File System (important), which are very necessary for the system. That may help. If you can not then that chip is very dangerous virus and reformatting equipment (backup all data before transforming)
